Installation

The UPS has a “rack and stack” design that provides two mounting options. The UPS can be mounted in a 19-inch equipment rack or stacked on a battery packs model XXX. Hardware is provided for either option.

Positioning the UPS

Place the rack and the UPS where they will be used for either stacking or rack mounting. The UPS is heavy. Select a location sturdy enough to handle the weight.

Consider that you install the UPS in a protected area that is free of excessive dust and has adequate airflow. Ensure the air vents on the front and rear of the UPS are not blocked.

Do not operate the UPS where the temperature/humidity are outside the specified limits. Refer to Specifications at the YYY web site, at ZZZ

Installing the UPS

To install the UPS, follow these basic steps. Each step is described in detail on the following pages.

Stack the UPS on the battery pack or install the mounting rails in the rack (four-post rack installation only). Place the UPS in the rack. Install the UPS at or near the bottom of the rack.

Connect the battery and attach the front bezel.

Connect the equipment and power to the UPS.

Turn on the UPS.

Stacking the UPS on a Battery Pack

Unpack the four mounting feet shipped in the literature kit.

Turn the UPS on its side so the bottom surface is accessible.

Locate the indentations on the bottom of the UPS that mark the feet positions.

Peel away the protective film on the back of one foot, align the adhesive side with an indentation on the UPS, and press hard to affix the foot to the UPS. Repeat this step for all feet.

Turn the UPS right side up and place it either on the floor on the battery pack. The battery pack cover has indentations to accommodate the feet on the bottom of either a UPS or another battery pack.

O No-Break tem design para “rack e prateleira” que propicia duas opções de montagem. O No-Break pode ser montado em um rack para equipamentos de 19 polegadas ou colocado em prateleiras sobre baterias modelo XXX. As ferragens para ambas as opções são fornecidas.

Posicionando o No-Break

Coloque o rack e o No-Break onde eles serão usados, tanto para a montagem em prateleira como em rack. O No-Break é pesado. Escolha um local forte o suficiente para suportar o peso.

Faça a instalação do No-Break em uma área protegida, sem poeira excessiva e com fluxo de ar adequado. Assegure-se de que as ventilações na parte da frontal e traseira do No-Break não estejam bloqueadas.

Não opere o No-Break quando a temperatura/umidade estiverem fora dos limites especificados. Consulte as Especificações no site da YYY, em ZZZ

Instalando o No-Break

Para instalar o No-Break, siga estes passos básicos. Cada passo está descrito em detalhes nas paginas seguintes.

Coloque o No-Break sobre a bateria ou instale os trilhos no rack (somente para instalação em rack de quatro colunas). Coloque o No-Break no rack. Instale o No-Break no ou próximo ao fundo do rack.

Conecte a bateria e anexe o bisel frontal.

Conecte o equipamento e a energia no No-Break.

Ligue o No-Break .

Colocando o No-Break sobre a Bateria

Desembale os quatro pés entregues juntos com o kit de documentação,

Vire o No-Break para o lado de forma que a superfície inferior fique acessível.

Localize, na parte inferior, os .entalhes do No-Break que marcam a posição dos pés.

Remova o filme protetor  da parte traseira de um dos pés, alinhe o lado adesivo com uma das ranhuras do No-Break e pressione firmemente para fixar o pé no No-Break. Repita este passo para todos os pés..

Vire o No-Break com o lado certo para cima e coloque-o no chão ou sobre a cobertura da bateria. A cobertura da bateria tem ranhuras para acomodar os pés do No-Break ou de outra bateria.
