As despesas da intermediação financeira apresentaram redução no exercício, exceto o provisionamento. O dispêndio com provisões no exercício foi de R$ 999,9 milhões, sendo 999,9% superior ao valor de 2004. Cumpre mencionar que este foi o principal motivo para o elevado prejuízo do exercício e deveu-se à reavaliação da classificação de rating de parte dos devedores. Quanto às demais despesas, as de captação diminuíram 999,9% e montaram R$ 999,9 milhões, enquanto as despesas de empréstimos e repasses foram de R$ 999,9 milhões, com redução de 999,9%. O XXXXXXXXX teve ainda despesa de arrendamento mercantil de R$ 999,9 milhões.
